diabetes tattoo glows when glucose levels are low
not perfected yet, scientists at penn state university are developing an alternative to the currently painful ways for diabetics to check their glucose levels. it's very cool if you read the article on how it works. it's simple too. when you're low, it glows. hey, that rhymed. that could be their marketing slogan. what's the tattoo going to be of, though? maybe a guy with a needle jammed into his thigh? or maybe for gangsters, it could be the word "insulin" in old english form. [note: while doing research for this post, my manager came to my desk and asked me what i was doing, you know, since i'm not actually working. i said i was doing research for my diabetic uncle. she apologized sympathetically and left. haha.] Matt @ 1:57 PM
