dry neural sensor allows computer control
NeuroSky Inc is raising funds to develop its first product - a sensor and chip set that converts brain waves and eye movements into logic commands for computerized systems via use of proprietary algorithms. so basically you can control machines and stuff with your mind by looking or thinking about certain things. this isn't completely new but the three stated focuses for this venture are drowsiness detectors in automobiles, therapy for those with attention deficit disorder, and ...wait for it... gaming consoles. i wouldn't get too hyped about it yet, but i would say that over time, this will be one of the directions we take for maneuvering within our game worlds. thinking ourselves in and out of scenarios. anybody remember the ps9 commercials from when the ps2 was released? breathing in spores which are the gaming console itself, and then SLAM! you're in the game world. sweeet.
