world's largest popsicle...not quite
to promote a new line of frozen treats, snapple recently attempted to break the record for world's largest popsicle. they failed. miserably. what was to be a 25 foot, 17 1/2 ton kiwi-strawberry popsicle melted before it was erected, and flooded the streets of downtown manhattan, new york, with red sugary goo which subsequently had to be hosed away by firefighters.

on a separate note, if you want to use firefighters for that, i'm sure it works fine, but when things like goo or slime fill up the streets of new york, a more tried and true method of cleaning it up is to just ask the question, "who ya gonna call?" Matt @ 2:53 PM
