bizarre creations' latest screenshot
you might not think anything of this image, but according to bizarre creations, this isn't actually a photo. its a render. a render of project gotham racing 3. i myself find it very hard to believe that while playing this game [which i will be buying either way] i'll be treated to the level of realism that is being suggested here. and apparently i'm not the only one. there's so much disbelief over the pic, that bizarre posted an article attempting to prove to its readers that the image you see here is actually from pgr3. the article includes wireframe versions of the same shot and others. they appear to have vindicated themselves. i'm sure we'll know more as time goes on, but if this shot is real and the game developers are able to achieve this level of photorealism this early in the 360's timeline, think of the implications of what is to come, not just for the 360 but consoles, computers, and gameworlds in general. in the meantime, i'll be here hoping for the best and trying to prepare for less than that [just in case].
