kid sells all family's belongings for $242 in china, an 11 year old boy sold all his family's posessions, worth about $60,000 in US currency, for $242. he then spent the cash at an internet cafe with some friends. here's the aftermath. it looks like he must have sold part of a wall too, cuz that house is tore up.
